[Markets] Following a spin-off from parent entity Anglo American, Thungela Resources faced a nightmare first day of trading as its shares dropped 25%. The South African coal mining firm's shares were dumped by European and American investors, further highlighting the lack of investor appetite in environmentally unfriendly shares.
[Travel] Norwegian Cruise and Carnival Cruise plan on resuming sailing from U.S. ports this summer. The announcement comes after the two companies agreed with the CDC over safety measures, including all passengers needing to be fully vaccinated by CDC-approved vaccinations.

[Cloud] Thousands of websites went offline for as much as an hour on Tuesday morning, including several of the world's largest news sites, streaming services, online retailers and even the U.K. government, disrupting millions of internet users. A Silicon Valley-based internet infrastructure provider, Fastly, admitted that a problem with its systems caused the outage.
[Space] Jeff Bezos will be flying to space on the first crewed flight of the New Shepard, the rocket ship made by his space company, Blue Origin. The flight is scheduled for July 20th, just 15 days after he is set to resign as CEO of Amazon.
[Regulation] Google is being fined 220 million euros ($268 million) by France's antitrust watchdog for abusing its dominant position in online advertising. The search engine giant is also promising to overhaul the way its platform is used for buying and selling digital ads, at least in France, which could have repercussions on its ongoing legal fights with regulators elsewhere in Europe, the U.S. and around the world.
